Taylor is a graduate of Appalachian State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a double major in Finance and Banking. Taylor is originally from Marietta, GA but moved to Charlotte when he was 12 and graduated from Providence High School and Appalachian State University.  Taylor and his wife, Melissa, live in south Charlotte with their daughters, Addison, Aubrey, and Annastewart and their dog Boone.
